Pork chops and applesauce has been around for centuries, but if you are a 50-something reader, you may remember the iconic Peter Brady of the Brady Bunch imitating Humphrey Bogart and coining the term “pork chops and applesauce”. Come on, we know you just said that in your best Bogart voice! The sweetness of apples cuts through the fat of the meat, and the easy texture provides easier digestion of chewy meat. This recipe takes the apples up a notch and combines them with a sweet/tart sauce that will make your tastebuds tingle.
To make this recipe, you’ll need:

- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup apple cider
