What to serve with pizza soup
Add some bread sticks and a large mixed green salad and you have a hearty wholesome meal on the table in less than 30 minutes. My Amish jalapeno cheese bread is the perfect dipping companion for this soup!
Variations
Feel free to add your favorite pizza toppings such as mushrooms, hot peppers, or ham slices. This soup can also be made as follows:
- Crockpot – For those times when you want to come home to a meal that is ready to eat, simply brown the sausage, then add all the ingredients (except the cheese) into the crockpot. Set on low for 6 hours. You can find a Crock-Pot here.
- Instant Pot – Set to sauté function and brown the sausage. Add the rest of the ingredients (except for the cheese) to the pot, place the lid on and set to seal. Pressure cook on high for 5 minutes. Remember this will take about 20 minutes to come up to pressure. Allow to sit for 5 minutes then carefully release the pressure. You can find an Instant Pot here.
