Peppermint extract
More if you prefer a stronger mint taste

Mini dark chocolate chips
Fine chopped chocolate if you can't find chips

Green food coloring
Optional for that classic green look
Instructions
Whisk milk and sugar until well combined and sugar is melted into the mixture
Add heavy cream, peppermint extract, and optional food coloring. Mix until well combined
With machine running, pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and churn for 25 minutes
Add chocolate chips to the mixture and continue to churn for an additional 5 minutes
Freeze ice cream in the bowl or freezer safe container for at least one hour prior to serving
