- 1 medium head of green cabbage, shredded
- 1 small head red cabbage, shredded
- 2 medium carrots, shredded
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup mayonnaise (I prefer Duke's)
- salt and pepper to taste
In a large bowl add apple cider vinegar, sugar, mayonnaise, and salt/pepper. Whisk to combine well and dissolve sugar. Taste and adjust salt/pepper seasoning.
Add shredded cabbages and carrots. Mix well to coat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate at least one hour before serving.

Note: Dressing may taste "gritty" at first, but will melt with the breakdown of the cabbage. Mix well prior to serving.
