Ingredients
For the Halibut:

halibut fillets, patted dry

tbsp
olive oil
salt and pepper
paprika
For the Garlic Sauce:
2
cloves
garlic, thinly sliced
1
tbsp
butter
1/4
cup
dry white wine
1/2
cup
chicken broth
1/2
cup
half & half, light cream, or milk
salt and pepper to taste
fresh chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Season both sides of halibut with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika. Set aside.
In a medium oven-proof skillet, heat butter over medium heat until melted.
Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Pour in white wine, broth, and cream. Let it reduce for 1–2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Nestle halibut into the sauce. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 400 degree F oven for 15 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
Remove from oven and garnish with parsley. Serve over rice.
