Ingredients
  

  • 1 15 oz can salmon - drained, bones removed, flaked
  • 1 egg - beaten
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp grainy mustard OR Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 lemon - juiced
  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp fresh or freeze-dried dill
  • 1/4 cup fine seasoned bread crumbs
  • avocado oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine salmon, egg, mayo, mustard, lemon juice, dill, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs. Mix well.
  • Form the mixture into 6 patties.
  • Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Pan-fry the patties until golden brown on each side and cooked through, about 8 minutes per side.
  • Drain the cakes on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve and enjoy!
