- 1 15 oz can salmon - drained, bones removed, flaked
- 1 egg - beaten
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1/2 tsp grainy mustard OR Dijon mustard
- 1/2 lemon - juiced
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp fresh or freeze-dried dill
- 1/4 cup fine seasoned bread crumbs
- avocado oil for frying
In a bowl, combine salmon, egg, mayo, mustard, lemon juice, dill, Old Bay seasoning, salt, pepper, and bread crumbs. Mix well.
Form the mixture into 6 patties.
Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over medium high heat. Pan-fry the patties until golden brown on each side and cooked through, about 8 minutes per side.
Drain the cakes on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve and enjoy!
